Curriculum planning
Our integrated curriculum is designed according to children's physical and mental development to cater to their abilities and interests. It places balanced emphasis on all the five major areas. We have computer courses and English and Mandarin classes taught by native English and Putonghua teachers.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
We introduce theme-based teaching and project-based learning approaches while organizing group activities, so as to develop children’s generic abilities and autonomous learning ability. Our story-based teaching approach is used for improving children’s Bi-literacy and Tri-lingualism levels. Children enrich their hands-on experiences and improve their learning interest and results by participating in visits, small experiments and other activities.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
The school carries out continuous observations & assessments, supplemented by children's books, homework, reports, etc., to assess children's all-round development; Every child is provided with a "Development Logbook" to record and analyze the overall development.
