Curriculum planning
|
The story-based approach is adopted. The balanced, integrated and spiral curriculum includes art education and guides children learn through various modes of learning and games.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.

The child-centred curriculum is taught with projects, stories and aesthetic education. Diversified, systematic and inspiring classroom environment is provided and teaching is conducted in the forms of games and activities. The balanced, integrated and spiral approach is adopted according to abilities of children. Active learning of children is emphasized.

Our missions: To spread the caring culture of the kindergarten to the families, bodies and community, and develop the kindergarten according to our own attributes. Based on our team spirit and home-school collaboration, children are helped to attain holistic development. Our objectives: To contribute our efforts to fostering the quality next generation by providing a safe and appropriate for growth of children; and record holistic development of a child through ongoing and comprehensive assessment forms.

Educational psychologists are available to provide consultation services regarding the curriculum and teaching. Clinical psychologists and registered social workers are available to provide counselling, assessments and referrals to students in need. Child care specialists are employed to design individual education plans for children as needed. Aesthetic educationists are available to provide school-based consultation. Occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech therapists will come and provide on-site counselling to children as needed. Instructors of the LEAP! Dance is employed to train body movements. Putonghua specialists and native-speaking teachers are employed to enhance language ability.
